How to make a Quran Reel in your browser
Start with a recitation and ayahs, add your design, then review the timing before exporting. This guide walks through the workflow using Ayah Studio’s free tools.
1. Choose a reciter and your ayahs
Open the studio and choose a reciter in Content first. Then select a surah, the start and end ayah, and a translation. Wait for the recitation and timings to load before playing the preview.
2. Pick a template and video format
Choose a template from the gallery or customize your own background and colors. Use vertical 9:16 for Reels and Shorts. Leave space around the Arabic and translation so social platform controls do not cover important text.
3. Split long verses and translations
In the text controls, set words per screen for the whole video or override the setting for an individual ayah. Review each screen and its translation. Adjust translation breaks when needed: translation chunks are a reading aid, not a word-for-word alignment.
4. Listen and review synchronization
Play the entire composition. Check that the correct ayah is visible and that highlights and screen changes follow the recitation. Use the synchronization editor to adjust boundaries when needed. If you switch reciters, wait for loading to finish and review the new timings.
5. Export MP4 and check the actual file
Open Export, select an available quality setting and start rendering. Keep the page available to monitor progress and download the completed MP4. Listen to the exported file and check its text, translation and margins before sharing. Export time varies with video length, visual effects and server load.
6. Save in the same browser
Projects and autosaves live in your current browser. Use Save to keep the project in this browser, and download finished MP4s separately. Clearing browser data or changing devices will not carry your project over. Optional support does not add cloud synchronization.
