Help with creating Quran videos

To make your first video, choose a reciter first, then a surah and ayahs. Customize the design and review the recitation before exporting MP4.

Is Ayah Studio free?

Yes. The editor and MP4 export are free. “Free with support” offers the same tools with an optional donation on Ko-fi. Donating does not unlock extra features.

Do I need an account to make a Quran video?

You can edit and export without signing up. Connecting a social account is a separate, optional step for supported publishing features.

Can I split a long ayah across several screens?

Yes. Set the words per screen for the whole video or override it for one ayah. Review the matching translation chunks and adjust their breaks when needed.

Are translation chunks word-for-word translations?

No. Translation chunks help reduce the amount of text on each screen. Languages use different word orders, so review each chunk in context before sharing.

Where are my video projects saved?

Editor projects and autosaves are stored in your current browser. Save your work in the same browser, and download important finished videos before clearing browser data. Rendering and optional automation use server storage.

Can I publish to Facebook or Instagram automatically?

Optional publishing is designed for Facebook Pages and supported Instagram professional accounts, after the site operator configures Meta and the user connects an eligible account. It does not post to personal Facebook profiles.

If a recitation does not load

Check your connection and try again. Recitations and timings depend on external providers and availability can vary. Try a shorter ayah range, and wait for the content to finish loading before exporting.

If an export fails

Read the error message and save your project in the current browser. Check that the text and recitation work in the preview, then retry with an available quality setting. When reporting an issue, include the surah, ayah range, reciter, settings and error message.
